HDFC SmartBuy adds Ferns N Petals as a 10X partner

HDFC SmartBuy Ferns N Petals offer — 10X reward points on select cards

HDFC has added Ferns N Petals (FNP) as a new 10X partner for eligible credit cards routed through SmartBuy. Community reporting (22 Aug 2026) frames the headline as “earn up to 33% points”—the usual shorthand for 10X Reward Points on Infinia / Diners Black–class valuation at about ₹1 per point when you book via the bank’s accelerated merchant path, not a plain fnp.com checkout outside SmartBuy.

Check SmartBuy before you pay

Partner lists, multipliers, and monthly caps change without fanfare. Open SmartBuy, confirm Ferns N Petals (or FNP) shows the 10X / accelerated label for your specific card, and note any gift-voucher sub-caps if you are buying vouchers instead of merchant checkout.

What “10X / up to 33%” usually means

  • 10X is the SmartBuy-style accelerator on eligible HDFC premium cards (same family as hotels / IGP-style merchants).
  • On Infinia / Diners Black Metal, 10X at ~₹1 per RP is often quoted as ~33% value before caps.
  • On Regalia Gold–class cards, the same 10X multiplier is worth less per point (often ~₹0.50), so the effective % is lower even when the “10X” badge matches.
  • Millennia / cashback SKUs may show cashback % instead of Reward Points—read the row for your card.

How to use the FNP partner path

  1. Log in to HDFC SmartBuy (netbanking / app / offers portal) with the card you intend to use.
  2. Open the Ferns N Petals / FNP merchant tile—do not jump straight to fnp.com in a normal browser tab if you need the accelerator.
  3. Complete checkout with the eligible HDFC credit card (or linked PayZapp path if that is what SmartBuy shows for your SKU).
  4. Save the order confirmation and later check that accelerated points posted within the bank’s stated posting window.

Caps and gotchas

Accelerated SmartBuy earnings still sit under card-level monthly (and sometimes daily) caps. Gift vouchers bought on SmartBuy/GyFTR often have a separate, tighter sub-cap than hotel/IGP merchant spend. If you only need flowers or a cake, merchant 10X can be strong; if you are stacking large voucher loads, re-check the current voucher multiplier and sub-cap before assuming full 10X.

Who should care

Useful if you already hold Infinia, Diners Black / BizBlack, Regalia Gold, or other SmartBuy-accelerated HDFC cards and buy FNP gifts often enough that the points beat plain retail earn. Skip the detour if your card is not on the accelerated table, if you are already capped for the month, or if a plain FNP promo + base card earn is cleaner.
